LIFE...or...IMPROV?

4 comments:

  1. I've never done improv on stage but my observation is that the players must constantly be present, in the moment, and thinking ahead, not behind. They don't have time to think about the past, even for a second. The scene goes on. The exhilaration comes from adapting to, working through, and giving into it. It doesn't matter which part you're playing, it's getting up on the stage to be part of the improv (life) that counts.
