This is wonderful! We can feel unsafe putting down our armor (our attachment to what's happened in the past, bracing ourselves for the future) in order to feel present-moment-gratitude. I always say to myself: hey, after ten minutes or so of gratitude, I can always pick that armor back up again if I like. But I often don't. Keep going with the gratitude!! It can melt anything that is no longer present. xo
